What to expect at the NBA trade deadline
The NBA is getting ready for the NBA draft, which will begin at 6:00 p.m.
ET on Tuesday night.
The Lakers, Heat, Bucks and Spurs have already been eliminated from the playoff race and will have to trade down before the draft.
There are a few potential suitors out there for the Lakers and the Heat, but there are a lot of players in the mix for the Bucks, Spurs and Heat.
If the Heat want to acquire any of the players in those four clubs, they’ll need to be willing to give up a first round pick and some of the future picks.
This is a draft that the NBA has not won since 1998.
The NBA will have a new commissioner in Adam Silver, and the league’s new rules for the draft will come into effect on April 23, 2018.
The NBA’s first-round pick, the 20th overall, will be awarded to the winner of the first-ever three-point shootout in Las Vegas.
This year’s shootout will be held in a Las Vegas ballroom, with all the games being held in one room.
The top two teams in the standings will advance to the second round, while the third-place team will play in the third round.
The 20th pick will be the most valuable pick in NBA history, with the value of the top overall pick in each draft being capped at $2 million.
In the case of the draft lottery, the value will be determined by the number of teams that participate.
The top two picks will be decided by a coin flip.
The winner of that coin flip will be selected in the top three picks in the draft, and then the winner will be announced at the end of the day.
